Special Info |
Arthur Ulrich Phillip Telfer was born on June 2nd, 1953, to Martha Puncham Telfer and Aubrey Telfer at 6A Flanagin Place Belmont, Trinidad and Tobago. He was the third of seven siblings, Ann, Michael, Richard, (deceased) , survived by Nick, Terry, and Kathleen. On December 26th, 1973, Arthur married the love of his life Angela Nandoo Telfer. They were blessed with two wonderful children, Roger and Vanessa. Arthur was married for forty-nine years. On August 17, 1987, Arthur migrated to the United States where he worked at the Marriot as a chef to provide for his family. In 2003, Arthur was blessed with his only grandchild, Kevani Megan Anjolie Telfer, daughter of Vanessa Telfer. Who he fondly called her ‘Googy.’ He was always outgoing and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Arthur found joy in making sure his family was happy and taken care of. He loved playing cards and Music was his thing. He also loved watching Jeopardy and Steve Harvey. He loved his family dearly and was a father figure to his four nieces Michelle, Terry Ann, Natalie, and Cyndi and eight nephews Robert, Neil, Ken, John, Ricardo, Christopher, Dylan and his favorite godson Nigel Telfer. He will be missed but remembered fondly.
I would like to leave you with Arthurs’s last poem titled Memory:
Memory
Those we love don’t go away
They walk beside us,
every step of the way, every day!
Unseen, unheard
But always near
Still loved and still missed
And very dear.
