VIEWING: For the late Winifred Phillip, who died at the age of 78 years will be held on Sunday, March 28th, 2010 from 3:00-5:00pm.
Funeral service immediately following at 5:00pm.
LOCATION: Emmaus S.D.A. Church
1144 Flatbush Ave, Brooklyn, New York
(corner of Dorchester Road)
INTERMENT: Will take place on Monday, March 29th, 2010 at Cypress Hills Cemetery, Brooklyn, N.Y.
Family and friends wishing to attend the burial service are kindly asked to be at the above mentioned church at 10:00am sharp.

Winifred Phillip of Chantimelle St. Patrick’s, Grenada W.I was born on April 16TH, 1931 to Laura Ferdinand and Israel Phillip. BROTHERS and SISTER: Easline Calliste Noel, Eldica Belfon, Elmina Bain, Sonny Ferdinand and Mankin Phillip preceded her in death. Winifred led a simple and humble life, and was well known in her community. She loved people especially children and her home was always filled with their chatter and laughter. Winifred loved the Lord and from the day he found her she never left his side. On Tuesday March 16TH, 2010 when he asked her to lay down her earthly burdens and come home she obeyed.
Left to mourn are her CHILDREN: Victoria St. John, Vaughn Phillip, Brian Phillip, and Leroy Phillip. ADOPTIVE DAUGHTER: Helena Redhead Jurakhan. GRANDCHILDREN: Onika St. John, Shandelle St. John, Ayana St. John, Deidre Defretas , Victor St. John, Demoth Phillip, and Jessica Phillip. GREAT GRANCHILDREN: Arianna, Ahmad, Amina, Elijah, Kayla, Myer and Daisy. NIECES&NEPHEWS: Elizabeth Elvira Noel, Theresa Annes Thomas, Gordon John (Rabies), Joycelyn Marrast, Anthony Calliste, Eslyn Archer, Dale Toussaint, Franklin Calliste. Edlyn Phillip, Pauline Alexander, Gleeta Francis, Paul Phillip, Augustine Noel (Mello), Madona Bain, Hector David in Grenada, Jocelyn David, Winston David (Bushes), Ann Joyce Henry, Gloria Alford, Hazel and Philip in the U.S. Raymond Philip (Smooth Hill) inTrinidad, and Rosemarie Phillip Paterson in England. GRANDNEPHEWS&NIECES: Gordon Richardson, Betty Vanessa Noel, Christopher Noel, Michelle Joseph, Agatha Alexander, Dennise Bain, Wendell Calliste, Junior Thomas, Dick Noel, Karen Noel, Richard Noel , and Michelle Noel. COUSINS: Reena Peters, Shirley Peters, Julie Peters, Doris, and many others including the Thompson, Phillip and Ferdinand family in Grenada. DAUGHTER-IN-LAW: Catherine Phillip.
